As a way to socially distance and show appreciation for the women who have taught morals and values, nurtured and counseled to build character, and shared their unconditional love and kindness, family and friends of the residents at The Village at Heritage Point participated in a parade of cars Sunday. The “Honk, Yell and Wave Mother’s Day and Spring Car Parade” featured decorated cars and signs declaring love for the residents. Strict social distancing of at least six feet was enforced for the residents as they watched from their balconies, patios and sidewalks. Parade participants stayed in their cars at all times.
