Dakota Lynn Pritt, 25, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 25, 2020.
The daughter of Meloney and Tracy Pruitt and Dale Nicklow, she was born Sept. 17, 1994, in Morgantown.
Dakota graduated from Morgantown High School. She enjoyed life and being a mother to her children. Dakota will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children: Christopher, Alexander and Raven McCabe; her companion, Chris McCabe; a brother, Adam Pruitt; grandparents, Cindy and Marshal Huffman, Sandra Pruitt and Warren and Joyce Nicklow; great-grandmother, Mae Huffman; her best friend, Michaela Morgan; and several other loving family members.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Hilda Pritt; great-grandfather, John Huffman; grandfather, Fred Pruitt; two uncles, Dale Pruitt and Keith Huffman; and three cousins, Devon Major, Tyler Nicklow and Jenifer Ervin.
Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home is assisting the family with private services. Dakota will be laid to rest, at Pleasant Hills Cemetery. A public memorial service will be announced at a later date. The family will cherish your stories and memories of Dakota shared on her digital register.
