Robert Eugene Radcliff, 85, of Indian Trail, N.C., formerly of Morgantown, passed away Monday, April 27, 2020, at Novant Health Matthews Medical Center in Matthews, N.C. He was born March 5, 1935, in Morgantown (Laurel Point), a son of the late Robert Morgan Radcliff and Opal Loar Radcliff.
Robert graduated from University High School in 1954, and attended WVU before operating the farm full time. He married Virginia Jacquez in November of 1955 and met her for roller skating in Fairmont.
Robert was a retired dairy farmer and owned and operated Green Valley Dairy Farm for many years. He and his wife moved several years ago to be closer to their family.
Robert enjoyed history, reading the news, movies, the Steelers, WVU sports and spending time with his granddaughters.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Virginia Jacquez Radcliff; daughters, Rhonda Radcliff and husband Robert Mullenger, of Mountain View, Calif., Rita Radcliff-Deppe and husband Brian Deppe, of Weddington, N.C.; beloved granddaughters, Stella Radcliff Mullenger and Morgan Candela Deppe; an aunt, Helen Loar Shamberger, of Morgantown; a sister, Barbara Fullmer, of Fort Worth, Texas; a brother-in-law, Samuel Jacquez, of Canton Ohio; five cousins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home is assisting the family with services. Robert will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will cherish your stories and memories of Robert shared on his digital register.
