Deloris Jean Kennedy, 92, passed peacefully April 27, 2020, at Sundale, due to Alzheimer’s Disease.
She was born Dec. 16, 1927, in Preston County, to Dewey and Inez Dalton.
Mrs. Kennedy, formerly of the Kingwood Pike, was married to the late Melford F. Kennedy.
She is survived by one son, Gary (Linda) Kennedy, of Wana; a son-in-law, Eugene Henry, of Morgantown; five grandchildren: Richard (Ellen) Jacobs, Barbara (Nathan) Forbes, Ron LaMar, Kristie (Rob) Wolfe, Jennifer (Chris) Zannier; fourteen great grandchildren: Ian Garvin, Matthew and Kaitlyn Jacobs, Cory Kennedy, Joshua and Jessica Forbes, Megan, Garrett and Olivia Lamar, Kennedy, Kassidy and Kaylee Wolfe, Cayden Price and Makayla Golden; four great-great-grandchildren, Molly Bennett and Sophia and Sabastian Forbes; and three sisters.
Along with her husband she was predeceased by her stepmother, Anna Dalton; a son, Steven Ronald Kennedy; a daughter, Cassandra Jane Henry; two great-great-granddaughters; three sisters; and one brother.
The family thanks the staff at Sundale for the loving care Deloris received for the past twelve years.

Deloris chose to be cremated. There are no services at this time due to restrictions.
