Edith was a long time resident of Parkersburg. She graduated from Parkersburg High School and worked at various businesses in the area throughout her career, including Mountain Iron Supply, Reps Furniture Co., G.C. Murphy and the Public Debt Federal Credit Union.
Edith was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was a generous and caring person. She truly loved and cared deeply for all of her family members. She loved nothing more than to be able to sit with family and have a conversation over the day’s events and what was going on with their lives, because she was always interested. She was always caring and never spoke ill of anyone. She was an amazing cook, and her baked goods will be missed.
Our family has lost a vital rock in our foundation which can never be replaced.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that you make a donation in Edith’s memory to the Humane Society or your favorite charity. Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Memory Gardens are assisting the family with the arrangements.
