Workers with Davis H. Elliot Co., headquartered in Lexington, Ky., are in the process of installing new lighting along Monongahela Boulevard.
The company is contracted through The West Virginia Division of Highways for its Monongahela Boulevard/U.S. 19 Lighting Project.
In a previous release, the DOH said crews will install new roadway lighting along the boulevard, between 8th Street and Patteson Drive. The majority of the work is anticipated to happen behind the shoulder closures, though there is the chance for an occasional right lane closure.
