Individuals and groups across the community continue to share their gratitude for frontline workers.
At 6 a.m. Wednesday, a handful of Mon Health Medical Center Auxiliary members, donning masks and standing far apart, greeted staff as they arrived to work — all holding signs of encouragement and thanks.
Across the area, banners sharing the same sentiments, such as the one at Suncrest Village, are on display as well.
“We want to thank everybody — in our county, across the U.S. — for what they’re doing,” said manger Mary Rose. “We have so many residents who are in the medical profession. We’re really just thankful to everyone for what they’re doing.”
