Gary Lee Bell, 60, of Kingwood, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020, in the WVU Medicine/WV Caring, GIP Unit in Morgantown, with family at his side.
He was born Jan. 2, 1960, in Minnesota, a son of late Robert Joseph and Patricia Delong Bell.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He worked as a shift supervisor for Albright Power Station for 36 years. After the power plant shut down, he transferred to the Harrison Power Station working for Mon Power a total of 40 years. He was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Tina Albright Bell; his son, Dain Bell and wife Brittany, of Terra Alta; his daughter, Lacey Cooper and husband, Kurtis, of Kingwood; two brothers, Kenneth Bell, of Bruceton Mills, and Brian Bell, of Connecticut; and five grandchildren, Kenleigh Bell, Grayson Bell, Lainey Bell, Marley Cooper and Delilah Cooper.
He was also preceded by his brother, Dennis Bell.
Browning Funeral Home is assisting the family with a private graveside service.
A celebration of life service for the public will be announced at a later date.
