A tractor-trailer carrying fruit juice crashed onto its side on Sugar Grove Road on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash was reported at 12:53 p.m., according to a 911 supervisor.
Monongalia County Sheriff Perry Palmer said the driver was traveling north on Sugar Grove Road, failed to negotiate a turn and crashed the vehicle, causing it to land on its side.
The driver, a male, was taken to J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Palmer said.
As of 2:45 p.m. the road was still closed to traffic. A local towing business had two large tow trucks working to right the vehicle and remove it from the scene.
Cassville Volunteer Fire Department, Mon EMS and the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department responded to the call.
