Emma Jane Leach McCord, 78, of Miamisburg, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 23, 2020, at Sycamore Medical Center of Miamisburg, Ohio.
She was born Oct. 8, 1941, in Dellslow, a daughter of the late George Melvin Leach and the late Icie Pearl (Hamrick) Leach.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth James Leach; a daughter, Lisa McCord and her nine children; a son, Rex McCord and his fiancé Angie Samples, of Miamisburg, Ohio; and two siblings, Jimmy and Kenny Leach.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Emma Jane loved playing piano for her church. She enjoyed painting ceramics, crocheting and sewing.
Due to the current events with COVID-19, the McCord family has chosen to hold a private graveside service at Nicholson Chapel Cemetery on Friday, March 27.
Professional services have been provided to the family with the guidance of Smith Funeral & Cremation Care of Westover/Morgantown.
