William “Bill” D. Nicklow Jr., 82, of Cleveland, passed peacefully away late in the night on Thursday, March 12, 2020.
Bill was the beloved husband of Betty (nee Saffle) of 62 years, devoted father of Debra (Randy), of Morgantown, and Carol (Neil, deceased), of Cleveland, and cherished pappy of granddaughters Alicia, Kayla and Jesse; great-granddaughter Willow, and great-grandpups, Oakley and Emerald.
He was the son of the late William D. Sr., and Sarah Katheryn (nee Wilson). He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie and James “Butch” and one sister, Mary Ella.
He was born in Smithsville, Pa., and graduated in 1956 from University High School in Morgantown. He retired from the railroad after 36 years.
Bill will be truly missed by all who have known him.
Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 20. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21, until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
