Eric Dean Oliver, 57, of Kingwood, passed away March 9, 2020, at J.W. Ruby Memorial with family at his bedside. He was born March 3, 1963, in Dayton, Ohio.
He was a proud member of Kingwood Southern Baptist Church. He dearly loved the Lord and was glad to share that love with anyone who would listen.
Thanks to the staff of Preston Memorial Hospital, Genesis Madison Center and J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, all of whom have cared for Eric for the last seven years after an extended illness. Thanks to Lucinda, Paula and Stephanie his home care givers for their tender love and devotion. He loved them dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and a stepdaughter. He is survived by his wife, Donella Moore, of Kingwood, five stepchildren, 17 step-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, one brother and three sisters.
A celebration of life service will be held Sunday March 22 at Kingwood Baptist Southern Baptist Church at 11 am. The Rev. Marty Turner will officiate. A lunch will be served afterward. Eric’s family wishes for God’s blessing to fall upon you.
