Daphne Mascioli Mack died March 3, 2020, in central Florida, as a result of an accident on her motorcycle.
Daphne was born in Morgantown, on July 30, 1957, and was preceded in death by her father Philip A. Mascioli, in 1971, and her mother Yvonne H. Mascioli, in 2005.
She graduated from The Grier School in 1974 and West Virginia University in 1978 in foreign literature in translation, a degree that she customized for her interest.
Daphne was fun, loving, joyful and serious about her work and play, doing both with equal gusto and seriousness. She had a passion for learning and spent a considerable part of her later years traveling and experiencing other cultures.
She is survived by her husband Danny Mack, of Sorrento, Fla., sisters Antoinette Mascioli-Carney, of Sanford, Fla., Loreta Mascioli, of Morgantown, and brother Philip Mascioli and spouse Missy, of Lake Eustis, Fla., nephew Gregory Fyock, of Sanford, Fla., niece Stephanie Fyock of Equador SA nephew Alajandro, niece Bianca, both of Equador, and a nephew Jacob Lysick, of Morgantown.
Funeral services will be held in Leesburg Fla.
Daphne was loved and will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
