Professor John J. “Jack” Renton passed away peacefully Feb. 28, 2020. He was fortunate to see his three boys within days of his passing.
Dr. Renton is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eleanor; son, Charles; son, David and wife Debbie; and son, John and wife Jennifer. He is also survived by his wonderful grandchildren Dillon, Knut, Joshua, Carlie, Sam, Jack and Rosie. In addition, he is survived by his aunt Sue Renton and first cousin, Jo Ann.
John dedicated his life and his body to science. His ashes will be interred at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
