PARKERSBURG, W.Va. — The Morgantown High boys’ basketball team defeated Parkersburg, 71-56, on Tuesday.
Carson Poffenberger led the Mohigans (18-3) in scoring with 16 points. Alex Rudy scored 15 and Alec Poland added 14.
Morgantown went into halftime with just a four-point advantage, but managed to score 41 points in the second half to add to its lead.
The Mohigans will play again at noon Saturday at Wheeling Park.
