Elizabeth Alice Sigley, 73, of Independence and Rowlesburg, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020, at Preston Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 2, 1946, in Rowlesburg, a daughter of the late Orval Ray and Maude Mildred Howdershelt Goff.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Mrs. Goff enjoyed spending with family, especially her grandchildren and working crossword puzzles.
She is survived by two sons, Steven Sigley and wife, Sheri, of Pasadena, Md. and Arthur James Sigley and wife, Robin, of Rowlesburg; her daughter, Tina Marie Goff and husband, Robert, of Independence; three brothers, Darrel Goff, of Mill Creek, Richard, of Akron, OH and Allen Goff, of Rowlesburg; a sister, Peggy Wetzel; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Guy Sigley in March of 2018; a daughter, Jacqueline Jean Sigley; sisters, Patty, Helen Jean and Mary and brothers, Ronnie and Ray.
Friends may call at the Burke Funeral Home in Rowlesburg on from 11-1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, with Pastor Carroll Harvey officiating. Interment will follow in the Etam Cemetery.
