History on display at the Muzzleloading and Accoutrements Trade Show

Pricketts Fort kicked off its Muzzleloading and Accoutrements Trade Show on Friday.

The popular event, which runs through Sunday, features artisans who specialize in 18th-century firearms, including knives, axes, guns, powderhorns, accoutrements, bags and frontier art. It’s set for 9 a.m.-5 p.m. today and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday.

A $3 admission will be collected at the door with proceeds to benefit the Pricketts Fort Memorial Foundation.

Many of the artisans are Contemporary Longrifle Association members, including Greg Bray, Willy Frankfort, Joe Scott, Bill Schneider and other vendors, including Ed Rayle, Doug Anderson, Dennis Hevener and Judy Wilson.
