Mary Lue “The Candy Lady”, Ringer, 85, of the White Oak Community of Terra Alta, went home to be with her Jesus on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020, at Garrett Regional Memorial Hospital, Oakland surrounded by her loving family.
The daughter of the late Clyde Carl and Mable Blanche Wilhelm Ringer, she was born December 18, 1934, in Cuzzart. She was the last remaining member of her immediate family.
She was a life long dairy farmer who loved all kinds of animals, her church and her family.
She is survived by nephews, David H. and Timmy Ringer, with whom she made her home; a niece, Rosalie “Annie” Ringer, who provided her care, all of Terra Alta; several other nieces, nephews and great- and great-great-nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters and six brothers.
Family and friends will be received at the Faith United Methodist Church from 5-8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, until the 11 a.m. time of service with Pastors Daniel Fulton and Ross Glotfelty officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
