MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Kaitlyn Ammons scored 16 points in the Morgantown High girls’ basketball team’s 51-34 win over John Marshall on Thursday.
Lindsay Bechtel also scored 13 points for the Mohigans (8-10).
Morgantown got off to a hot start in the contest — outscoring John Marshall 25-15 in the first half, and added to its lead in the second.
Morgantown will play again at 4 p.m. Tuesday against South Charleston at the Little General Shootout at West Virginia State College.
