BLACKSVILLE, W.Va. — Liv Ammons scored 23 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Clay-Battelle High girls’ basketball team lost to River (Ohio), 49-35, on Thursday.
The Cee-Bees (11-7) faced a 10-point deficit in the first quarter and struggled to overcome it.
Clay-Battelle will play again at 4 p.m. Saturday against Union.
