Joseph Allen ‘Joe’ Shumiloff, 67, of Daybrook, passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020.
The son of the late Mike and Eleanor Shumiloff, he was born June 20, 1952, in Morgantown.
Joe was a machinist and worked at NORTHCO for many years. He was a history buff and an avid collector of knives and World War II memorabilia. Joe spent many years in the role of sports dad, enjoyed “fishing” with his buddies and more recently, being “Pa” and facetiming with his granddaughters, Anna and Molly.
Joe is survived by his wife of 36 years, LeeAnn Shumiloff; children: Nicki Rozette and her husband, Vinny, Alex Shumiloff, Ben Shumiloff, Stephanie Yedlosky, Jason Shumiloff, Corey Shumiloff, and Carrie Cralton; grandchildren: Gage and Kate Yedlosky, Zach Flowers, Jordan Shumiloff, Anna and Molly Rozette; brother, Michael Shumiloff and wife Cindy, brother-in-law Chris Wilson and wife Sharon, sister-in-law Susan Brinegar and husband Tom; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Harlee Flowers; mother-and father-in-law, Ivan ‘Butts’ Wilson and Janice Wilson-Hall; and a brother-in-law, Brad Wilson.

Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and again from noon on Thursday, until the 1 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Bill Page officiating. Burial will follow at Daybrook Cemetery.
