SB 661, to change school instructional time from a minimum of certain minutes per grade level to an average of five hours per day, with school to begin no sooner than Sept. 1.
SB 663, to exempt diapers and feminine hygiene products from sales tax. Sen. Bob Beach, D-Monongalia, lead sponsor.
SB 667, to expand the membership of the state Commission on Holocaust Education. Beach, lead sponsor.
SB 678, To waive all fines and fees for any convict who completes the Getting Over Addictive Lifestyles Successfully program for the purposes of obtaining a driver’s license. Sen. Charles Clements, R-Wetzel, lead sponsor.
SB 679, the Clean Drinking Water Act, same as HB 4542 by Delegate Evan Hansen, D-Monongalia.
HB 4602, to increase the penalty for DUI causing death when a child is present. Delegates Mike Caputo, D-Marion, Barbara Evans Fleischauer, D-Monongalia, co-sponsors.
HB 4609, to limit gender reassignment surgeries and hormone replacement therapies to consenting adults and to deny any such requests by minors.
HB 4623, to require courses for all students regarding the Holocaust and other genocides.
