Three Detroit men and a Morgantown man were arrested after the Mon Metro Drug Task Force searched an apartment on Beechurst Avenue on Friday.
Kyohn Green, 28, Darrell Pettaway, 31, David Morrison Jr., 31, all of Detroit and Benjamin Trujillo, 31, of Morgantown, are charged with three counts of possession with a controlled substance with intent to deliver and one count of conspiracy.
The search was the result of a weeks-long investigation into Trujillo, Green and others selling crack and heroin from the apartment, according to a criminal complaint. The investigation was based on confidential source information, surveillance and multiple controlled buys.
Officers found both bulk and prepackaged heroin, cocaine and crack in the apartment, the complaint said. Cash, three guns and a “drug distribution packaging area” with two digital scales and boxes of sandwich bas were also found in the apartment.
In total, the task force seized 4.9 ounces of heroin, 2.4 ounces of cocaine and 1.7 ounces of crack, according to the complaint.
Some of the more than $10,000 found in the apartment matched bills used in controlled buys the drug task force previously made, the complaint said.
