BLACKSVILLE, W.Va. — The Clay-Battelle High girls’ basketball didn’t play its best game offensively Thursday, falling to Valley (Wetzel) 54-47.
The Cee-Bees were sloppy in the contest, committing lots of turnovers and struggling at the free throw line.
Joleigh Sollars led Clay-Battelle in scoring with 15 points and Liv Ammons added 12. Sollars also made five 3-pointers.
The Cee-Bees scored just 17 points in the first half. They tried to mount a comeback in the second, but fell short.
