BECKLEY, W.Va. — Ashten Boggs scored 31 points as the University High girls’ basketball team defeated Pikeview, 63-58, on Thursday.
Boggs made 10 field goals in the game and was 10 of 13 from the free throw line. Mallory Napolillo scored 12 points.
The Hawks (12-5) outscored Pikeview 36-26 in the first half, and held on in the second half.
University will play again at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Big Atlantic Classic in Beckley against a team to be named later.
