Dave Walter Lantz, 71, of Martinsburg, passed Friday, Jan. 25, 2020, at his residence.
Born May 24, 1948, Rowlesburg, he was the son of the late Ersel W. Lantz and Eveleen (Shaffer) Lantz.
Dale worked at Dupont as a machine operator. He love baseball, and his favorite team was the Pirates. He also enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by two sons, Roger L. Walker II, and Donovan Lantz; two daughters, Amanda Brown and Dawn Gentry; one sister, Elma Lantz Leaman; and seven loving grandchildren and four great-granchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Louise Andrews Lantz; and one sister, “Dutch” Lantz.
Family will receive friends at Brown Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29. Graveside service will be held at Chestnut Grove Cemetery at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, with Pastor Donivan officiating.
