PINE GROVE, W.Va. — Levi Carrico scored 25 points as the Clay-Battelle High boys’ basketball team defeated Valley (Wetzel), 72-47, on Thursday.
The Cee-Bees (11-1) got off to a hot start in the game — outscoring Valley (Wetzel) 43-20 in the first half.
Coltin Barr scored 17 points for Clay-Battelle and Mojo Chisler added 15. Carrico made two 3-pointers.
The Cee-Bees will play again at 7:30 p.m. today against Buffalo in the first round of the Hit Tournament.
