David Michael Fullmer, 61, of Tunnelton, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020 at Mon General Hospital. He was born on Jan. 18, 1959, son of the late Willard Ray Fullmer Sr., and Dolores “Dee” (Moats) Fullmer.
David served in the United States Navy on the Gunner Ship out of Norfolk, Va.. He worked construction as a carpenter for Perilli Apartments in Morgantown. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and just being outdoors.
David is survived by his companion, Dana Rager; two children, Zachery Wade Fullmer, of Tunnelton, and Logan Marie Fullmer, of Tunnelton; one stepson, Jimmy Henline and Alissa, of Kingwood; nephew, Marcus Fullmer and companion Savannah and his son, Easton Fullmer; five grandchildren, Aryanna Lynn Fullmer, Leia Violet Fullmer, Donnie Ray Fullmer, Gabby Knotts and Landon Knotts; three brothers, Willard R. Fullmer, Walkerton, Va., Kevin E. Fullmer and wife Penny, of Rowlesburg, Russell “Rusty” H. Fullmer, Tunnelton; his special four-legged buddy, Spunky; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Randal M. (Randy)”Snuffy” Fullmer Sr., in 2017.
Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, from 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, until time of service at 7 p.m. with Pastor David Biggins officiating. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Campground Cemetery.
