William “Bill” Corob, 83, of Morgantown, died on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 26, 1936, in Star City, a son of the late Nicoli and Bertha (Stevens) Corob.
Bill was known to serve the Lord and was a loving family man throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda (Nicholson) Corob; children: David, Tina and Philip; stepdaughters: Trisha, Brenda and Sharon; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Kathleen Spears.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, William E. Corob and Mary Jane Shank; and siblings: Nick, David, John, infant Robert, Olga, Frank and Eddie.
Family and friends will be received at Nicholson Chapel, Summers School Road, Morgantown, from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, and will continue from 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Kenny Reed and the Reverend Francis Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow at Nicholson Cemetery.
