Shirley Ann Britton, 83, of Laurel Point, passed away Sunday Jan. 12, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 19, 1936, a daughter of the late Harland Wiley Wilburn and Jessie Pearl Fowler Wilburn.
Shirley was a loving wife and mother and had been employed as a beautician in Morgantown for many years.
Shirley is survived by her son Greg Britton and companion Angie Baldwin, of Laurel Point; two grandchildren, Tyler Anthony Britton and Harley Frye; one sister, Barbara (Bud) Benson; and one brother, Don (Sandy) Wilburn.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband William D. “Bill” Britton in 2018.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. Thursday until the 11 a.m. funeral service. Burial will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
