Enterprise Truck Rental has expanded into the Morgantown area with a location on Asturias Lane, just off Grafton Road.
The business, which opened on Jan. 2, is just south of the Interstate 68 exit, near Walmart and Sheetz and will employ seven people.
Enterprise officials said Morgantown was chosen for expansion because it is one of the fastest-growing locations in the state and is the home of West Virginia University.
The Asturias Lane branch offers truck rentals including cargo vans, box trucks and tow-capable pick-up trucks for personal and business use. It’s open from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m.-noon Saturday and closed Sunday.
With the addition of Morgantown, Enterprise Truck now has four locations, including a just-opened branch in Beckley, as well as spots in Charleston and Huntington.
Enterprise Truck, which has 350 locations nationwide, is a sibling company of Enterprise Rent-A-Car and are both owned by Enterprise Holdings Inc., a privately held company based in St. Louis.
Enterprise Holdings also owns National Car Rental, Alamo Rent a Car and Enterprise CarShare. The company employs 100,000 nationwide.
