MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Trinity Christian girls’ basketball team struggled to do much right offensively before, ultimately, falling to Gilmer County, 71-32, on Monday.
Olivia Austin led the Warriors (4-6) in scoring with 14 points. Austin also accounted for five of Trinity’s 10 total field goals. She also made two 3-pointers.
A poor start plagued Trinity, which was outscored 35-11 in the first half, and couldn’t overcome the early deficit.
The Warriors will play again at 7 p.m. Thursday against Weir.
