Crystal Dawn Stone Ray, 42, of Masontown, W.Va., passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2020, at home surrounded by her loving family after a long courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
She was born in Morgantown on Feb. 12, 1977, a daughter of Allen Stone, of Buckhannon, and Kelly (Jeffries) and Perry Strawser, of Reedsville.
Crystal was employed by the United States Postal Service in Reedsville. She loved swimming, camping, gardening, riding 4-wheelers, babysitting and watching her children play sports.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sons, Loggan J. Stone, of Newburg, and Scott Stone, of Morgantown; a daughter, Natalie Ray, of Morgantown; a brother, Shawn Stone and Joanne, of Seattle; a nephew, Jaxon Stone, of Seattle; boyfriend, Travis White and his children, Taylor and Alyssa, that she thought the world of.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Norma Jeffries and Everett and Mary Stone.
Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown, W.Va. from
5-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 10, at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Shiflett officiating. To honor her wishes, she will then be cremated.
