CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Michelle Thomas and Tori Garlits led the Preston High girls’ basketball team to a 64-58 victory over Robert C. Byrd on Monday.
Thomas scored 26 points and Garlits netted 20 for the Knights (7-1). The duo also made a combined seven 3-pointers.
Preston got off to somewhat of a slow start in the first quarter but managed to pull way later in the game.
The Knights will play again at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lewis County.
