Rhea Maxine Trickett, 96, of Tunnelton, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019, in Wyoming County Community Hospital, in Warsaw N.Y., with family by her side.
She was born Sept. 1, 1923, in Tunnelton, a daughter of the late Claude and Opal Williams Bolyard.
Mrs. Trickett was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She attended the Brighter Day Church, loved to crochet, quilt and spending time with her family. She was a longtime member of OES Chapter 143, Newburg.
She is survived by her son, William Trickett, Jr. and wife, Faye of Warsaw, N.Y., her brother, Gary Bolyard, of Morgantown, four grandchildren, Tim Trickett and wife, Sue; B Trickett and wife Amy; Tom Trickett and wife Tammy and Brande Murphy and husband, Jim; 14 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Trickett, Sr. in 2014 and her sister, Helen Hartman.
Friends may call at the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29. OES Chapter 143 of Newburg will conduct a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Trickett’s funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, in the funeral home chapel with Pastors Roger and Cheryl Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
