Mary Louise Urick, 78, of Westover, passed away Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Nov. 7, 1941, in Hagerstown, Md., a daughter of the late Ralph and Esther Chaney Smith.
Mary had been employed as a Station Clerk at Ruby Memorial Hospital for 20 years. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family.
She is survived by four daughters, Nicole Stimmell (Robert), of Westover, Rebecca Bisel (Jeff), of Millertown, Pa., Deborah McLucas (Michael), of Marshall, Va., and Tamara Fazenbaker, of Hagerstown, Md.; a son, Robin Urick (Karen), of Morgantown; a half-sister, Sonja Roadarmel; and grandchildren, Alexis and Aiden Stimmell, Hannah Urick, Joseph and Amy Burcker, Michael McLucas, John and Shawn Morris, Jacob Fazenbaker, and Zoe and Nathan Bisel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kristina McLucas.
Friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29. Mary’s funeral service will begin at 6 p.m. with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Following the service, McCulla Funeral Home will provide cremation services.
