Amanda Leigh Dillow, 30, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019. She was born on Oct. 5, 1989, in Morgantown, a daughter of Jennifer Leigh (Karus) and husband Mark A. Cook, of Fairmont, and Brent Dillow and wife Kristine, of Pennsylvania.
Amanda will be remembered for being bold, outspoken, optimistic and for her adventurous spirit and creative mind. She loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, designing vinyl decals for and detailing cars, but most of all, she loved family and friends.
In addition to her parents and stepparents, she is survived by daughter, Cadance Harmony Cox, of Fairmont, and her father, Steven Cox, of North Carolina; sister, Casey Lynn Dillow; half-sister, Allysia Elaine Dillow; grandparents: Esther and Lloyd Dillow, of Pennsylvania, and James and Linda Karus, of Fairview; and stepgrandmother, C. Janene Hays, of Fairmont.
She was preceded in death by stepgrandfather, Robert A. Cook.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home.
Family and friends are welcome to call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont, from 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Sunday, and 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, until the service at 1 p.m., at the funeral home, with Pastor Craig Moore officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
