MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The University High girls’ basketball team’s sharp-shooting propelled it to a 56-31 victory over John Marshall on Monday.
The Hawks (2-1) made 22 total baskets and eight 3-pointers.
Abbie Coen led the team in scoring with 16 points, making two 3-pointers in the process. Ashten Boggs made three 3-pointers and had 10 points.
University held John Marshall to just 11 total field goals.
The Hawks will play against at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Morgantown High.
