CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Jac Smith scored 14 points, but the Trinity girls’ basketball team fell to Notre Dame 51-36 on Monday.
The Warriors (2-2) struggled to get much going offensively outside of Smith — making just 13 field goals.
Notre Dame made 23 total baskets in the contest. Most of its points came in the second half — outscoring Trinity 28-20. Notre Dame didn’t make a 3-pointer in the game, either. Notre Dame also had three players score double-digit figures.
The Warriors will play again at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at East Richland in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
