KINGWOOD — A Rowlesburg woman was charged with having meth with a street value of $2,070, which police said she intended to sell.
Rhonda Lynne Bucklew, 42, was in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail Monday in lieu of $100,000 bond. According to a criminal complaint by State Police Trooper A.L. Barnette:
On Saturday, he stopped a Toyota Camry with a burnt out taillight on W.Va. 7 in Masontown. As he approached the car, Barnette said, he smelled marijuana coming from it.
The owner of the car gave permission for the officer to search it. He found a purse with 20.7 grams of crystal meth, $505 cash, 129 small plastic bags, a digital scale and two ledgers. After being told her Miranda rights twice, Bucklew said she’d been selling meth since August.
