Weymouth Charline Blaney, 97, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully in Fairfax, Va., on Oct. 22, 2019, with the love of family surrounding her. She was born in Bokoshe, Okla., on Jan. 8, 1922, to Edward and Elsie Lowery.
After moving to West Virginia, Weymouth graduated from Kanawha Valley Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse in 1944. She enjoyed a long nursing career doing private duty at all of the Morgantown hospitals.
Weymouth is predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years, Charles Morton Blaney in 2012.
She is survived by her daughters, Linnett Cormier and her husband Paul, of Fairfax, Va., and Susan Robbins and her husband Gary, of Manasquan, N.J. She adored her four grandsons, Christopher Lyons and Brittany, of Centreville, Va.; Craig Lyons and Donna, of Springfield, Va.; Brian and Meredith Robbins, of Ocean, N.J.; and David Robbins, of Arlington, Va.
Visitation will be at Faith Baptist Church, 809 Green Bag Road, Morgantown, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. Interment will be private at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
