Bryan David Morris, 40, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019, at his residence.
He was born in Wheeling, on June 27, 1979, the son of David Wayne Morris and Vanessa Sue (Barrett) Morris, of Wheeling.
In addition to his parents, Bryan is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Poling) Morris; children, Brayden (7) and Dylan (4); sister, Erica Dalek and husband, Matt, of Wheeling; great aunt Dolores Morris, of Wheeling; aunt Judy and uncle David Kociban, of Wheeling; father and mother-in-law Michael and LuAnne Poling, of Philippi; brothers-in-law, Dwayne Poling, of Belington, and Josh Poling, of Norfolk , Va.; niece Jenna Poling, and nephews Shayne Poling, Evan and Lucas Dalek and Jazper Poling; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.
Bryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Antoinette Barrett; and his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Marjorie Morris.
Bryan was a graduate of West Virginia University and a Construction Manager for EQT. Bryan loved to fish, golf, shoot sporting clays and spend time with his two boys, family, and friends.
Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St. Morgantown, WV from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday Dec. 1st and again from 10 a.m on Monday Dec. 2nd until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Brother Garry Clem officiating. Burial will follow at East Oak Grove.
