A Maidsville man was charged with filming juvenile girls using the bathroom at his home without their knowledge or consent.
Oliver Matheny, 45, was charged with use of minors in filming sexually explicit conduct, which is a felony.
The charges were filed Monday by the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department. According to a release issued by the department, Matheny is currently in the North Central Regional Jail on an unrelated charge.
Police said the filming occurred in September 2018.
He could face up to 10 years in jail and as much as $10,000 in fines.
He has not yet been arraigned on the charges.
