Carol Florence Lemley, 71, of Blacksville, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019, in the J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born Aug. 24, 1948, at Blacksville, a daughter of the late Asa Lemley and Edna Stiles Lemley.
Miss Lemley worked for various people in the area doing cleaning and housekeeping. She also worked at the Blacksville Senior Center and was the custodian for the Blacksville United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Surviving is one sister, Charlotte Rexrode, of Mannington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Mutter, and one brother, Ralph Lemley.
At the request of the deceased, her body will be cremated.There will be no services.The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville is in charge of arrangements.
