West Virginia volleyball team gets ready to face TCU at home

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Following a week away from competition, the West Virginia volleyball team begins a two-game homestand with a match against TCU at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the WVU Coliseum.

“TCU is playing well, but we are just excited to be back at home for four of our last five matches,” WVU coach Reed Sunahara said. “We expect a great match in front of a great crowd. I believe a lot can happen in this final stretch, and we’re ready to shake some things up.”

WVU (11-13, 2-9) and TCU (8-13, 3-8) will meet for the second time this season. The Horned Frogs won the first meeting, capturing a three-set win on Oct. 24.

In its last match, West Virginia suffered a 3-0 loss at Iowa State in Ames, Iowa.

TCU most recently picked up a 3-1 win over Kansas.
