Let’s help Trump make
America great again
Once again the United States is leading the way to opportunity, quality of life, personal freedom, access to health care and dog and cat ownership.
American competitiveness is a topic President Trump made a cornerstone of his campaign in 2016 and still talks about almost daily. How often do we hear him tout that under his leadership: “America is winning again!” It’s a message the president has stuck to, and we see evidence of regularly.
But American superiority is not a message we have heard from the Democrats running for president. If America, and our ideals of freedom, are going to outwit the communists in China and the antagonists in Russia, then we must elect leaders who understand how we became No. 1 in the first place.
The radical philosophy for any problem facing American society is a law, a regulation, or a government program. A few of the candidates running for president actually favor socialism when it comes to social welfare.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren has made “Medicare For All” and free college tuition hallmarks of her campaign. The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget suggests a 42% sales tax might be required to raise the funds just needed for Warren’s “Medicare for All” policy.
The American people face an uphill battle with the news media every single day. The free traders and globalists have been giving much of American economic might away for nothing. Most companies complaining about tariffs are doing so because they are having their products made outside of America. They are the very ones that shut down the thousands of factories in America.
What do we the people need to be doing? Who is elected in 2020 will determine which direction we go: A globalist colony or assuming the responsibility for making America great again.
The president can’t do it by himself. America belongs to the people not a political party or group of radicals.

Some facts about the
president, not opinions
Another letter from Steve Kopa (DP-Wednesday) about the president ruining our beloved country without including facts, just his opinion. President Trump has accomplished the following in office:
Due to his pro-growth policies, real gross domestic product (GDP) growth exceeded 3% over the last year.
Some 5 million-plus jobs have been created and the national unemployment rate is below 4%.
African-Americans’ unemployment rate fell to 5.9%, the lowest rate on record.
African-American (21.2%) and Hispanic American (18.3%) poverty rates reached record lows. Some 4.6 million Americans no longer need food stamp assistance.
Workers have seen their largest annual wage growth in a decade.
He’s delivered on his promise to restore American manufacturing. Manufacturing added 284,000 jobs in 2018, the most added since 1997.
He signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act which resulted in 6 million workers receiving tax cut benefits and utility companies lowing rates.
His deregulation efforts achieved $33 billion in regulatory savings and delivered $23 billion in benefits to American families and business owners.
He withdrew from the Paris Climate Agreement preventing harm to America’s economy and costing American workers millions of jobs.
He’s negotiating fair and balanced trade deals with other countries to protect American industries and workers.
He’s rescinding costly regulations to utilize America’s wealth of energy resources.
He’s expanding access to affordable health care and acting to lower drug prices.
His administration is resolving the opioid crisis.
He’s advocating for the safety and security of America’s borders.
He is rebuilding our military forces.
He is restoring world-wide American leadership by defending an “America first” agenda.
What have Democrats accomplished in the past three years except wasting our financial resources on numerous investigations to impeach the president? Not much that I can see.
