Thelma “Teddi” Mae Everly, 85, of Bruceton Mills, went to be with Jesus at her “Heavenly Home” Sunday, Nov. 2, 2019.
She passed away peacefully with her son Dave by her side at Court House Manor in Washington Court House, Ohio.
Teddi was Baptist by faith and loved the Lord. She was a devoted caretaker, of 22 years, at the residences of the late Ward and Mary Thomas, of Bruceton Mills.
She was preceded in passing by her late husband, Robert “Bob” Everly.
She had two children with her previous marriage to Edgar W. Emerson, a daughter, Linda Winiarski, married to Ron Winiarski, of Westover, and a son, Dave Emerson, married to Stephanie Emerson, of Wilmington, Ohio. Ed and Linda also preceded her in death.
Additionally, she is survived by her loving sister and best friend, Nellie Kelley and her husband, Dale; her brother, Kenny Ryan and his wife, Vivian; two grandsons, Michael Winiarski and Chad Summers; and four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Logan Winiarski, Jerimiah and Mary Ann Summers.
As we mourn our loss, we can take comfort in knowing that Teddi is at peace now. She was ready to meet Jesus and walk with him, side by side, through the gates to her “Heavenly Home.” Greeting her on arrival were her mother and father, Herbert and Olive Ryan; her daughter, Linda, and many other family members and friends who made the journey before her. We love you and we will miss you.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, and from 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, until the 11 a.m. service with the Rev. Vicki D. Sheppard officiating.
Burial will follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills.
