Leanne Fulton Cravens, 62, of Lynn Haven, Fla., passed away Oct. 31, 2019, peacefully at her home.
Leanne was born Aug. 22, 1957, in Parkersburg, to Gladys Louise and Frank Fulton Jr. and moved to Bay County, Fla., in 1986 after growing up in Morgantown.
Leanne was a graduate of West Virginia University, where she received her B.S. in elementary education in 1979. She was a talented educator for over 40 years, most of which was spent within the Bay County School System teaching at Cedar Grove Elementary. Leanne had a passion for teaching and her love for reading impacted hundreds of children. She was extremely proud of her alma mater and was considered a true Mountaineer.
Leanne is survived by her children, Katie (Matt) Yori, Cory Cravens and Chelsey (Trent Hickman) Cravens, whom she shared with Bruddy Cravens, all of Panama City, Fla.; her siblings, David (Cheryl) Fulton, of Charleston, S.C., Lynne (John) Gianola, of Cross Lanes, Mary Lou (Stan) Wellman, of Richmond, Va., and John (Denise) Fulton, of Kensington, Md.; her sisters-in-law, Laura (Tim) Odell, of Charleston, and Rebecca (Todd) Watts, of Hurricane; and her many nieces and nephews. She was a special MaMa-LeLe to her grandchildren, Emmalee Cravens, Alec and Brantley Hickman and Avery Yori.
Friends will be received at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home, in Panama City, from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial.
