Eric Scott Caine, 24, of Tyler County, departed this life Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019, in Tyler County.
He was born Dec. 11, 1994 in Morgantown, the son of Shawn (Sheree Blosser) Caine and Chasity Mulvay (Matthew) Ash.
Eric worked in the oil and gas industry. He liked golfing and rock climbing. He was a Protestant.
Eric was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Larry and Barbara Hadley Caine; his paternal great-grandparents, Clarence and Ruby Hadley; maternal grandfather, Keith Weekley.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Megan (Ryan) Kinney and Zetta Ash; a brother, Dillon Ash; maternal grandparents, Harlond and Myra Mulvay; maternal great-grandparents, Delmer and Patty Mulvay; maternal grandparents, Robert and Lovena Blosser; maternal great-grandmother, Christine Weekley; aunt, Shannon (Bobby) Thomas, aunt, Annie (Tim) Pratt, aunt, April (Tim) Parsons and uncle, Harlond “JR” Mulvay.
Family will receive friends at Furbee Funeral Home, Route 18, Tyler, from noon Sunday, Nov. 10, until the 2 p.m. service. Pastor Mark Hardgrove will officiate. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery, Joseph’s Mills.
