Darla Wright Thrift, 57, of Bruceton Mills, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.
The daughter of the late James Edward Wright and Shirley Smith Herring, she was born April 26, 1962, in Kingwood.
Darla worked in the medical field for many years.
She is survived by her son, Gary Michael Keefer and his wife, Cindy, of Port Tobacco, Md.; her companion, Bradley Cuppett; a brother, James E. Wright II and his wife, Laurie, of Bruceton Mills; and a niece, Allison Wright and her fiancee, Ryan Thomas; and a nephew, Asa Wright, of Bruceton Mills.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, will provide cremation service.
